I’ve been struggling to figure out what I want to do with my life these past few years. I’m in my early thirties, I’ve been to college, I’ve tried a couple of professional programs, but nothing seems to be a good fit. It’s not just a matter of career. I don’t really know what the general purpose of my life is, and it’s safe to say that I don’t fully know who I am. I’m not sure if I want to help people, get ahead at my corporate job, or go in a totally new direction.

My personal life is also up in the air. I’m dating a guy who can’t commit, and I’m not sure if I should move on and find someone who’s ready for a family. I don’t even know if I want to have a family, or what to look for in a new partner. It’s safe to say that I’m at a point in my life where I’m a little bit lost, and I need some help in figuring it all out.

Last week, I made the decision to hire a life coach after a long conversation with my best friend. She worked with a life coach during a point in her life when she was totally lost, and she’s incredibly happy now. She loves her job, she’s married, and she even has a baby on the way. Her coach was able to help her figure out her priorities and get a clear sense of what she really wanted. Like me, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to have children, and she didn’t know if she wanted to stay at her job or get on a different career path.

She ended up realizing that it was important for her to build a family, and because of that she moved on to a career that gave her more flexible hours. Now, she’s one of the happiest people I know. Those are the kind of results I’m looking for. I want someone to help me figure out where I want to go so that I don’t waste any more time doing meaningless things. I want to be happy.

At first, I didn’t know where to look for a life coach or how I was even going to choose one. With a little bit of googling, however, I found Life Coach Spotter. They made the process of finding a coach really easy.  All I had to do was fill out a form with some of my basic information and preferences, and Life Coach Spotter provided three matches through their matching service. I’m an extremely busy person and it saved me more trouble than you can imagine.

The best part is that I didn’t have to make a decision before getting to sample the services. I got a free consultation with each of the three coaches to help me choose which one I wanted to work with. While I was grateful to have had the opportunity to talk to some coaches before hiring, it would also be nice to get a voucher for a free first session. That would really help people decide if they want to go through with hiring a life coach.

Fortunately, the coach I chose was really great. She really understood me and helped me gain some clarity within the first half hour of our session, and I see myself working with her for a long time. Aside from the lack of a free voucher, Life Coach Spotter is amazing if you want to find a certified life coach fast. I definitely recommend at least giving it a try.
